Monthly Newsletter

September 2018
September started getting cooler finally! But that was largely due to Hurricane Florence that swept through the East Coast. A large portion of the newsletter is devoted to Hurricane relief and CAP support throughout the event. CAP volunteered nearly 25,000 hours over the course of the past month to Hurricane relief & support!! Also read about the 5 Pillars of Wellness our squadron and squadrons across the nation are working on September and October. Stay safe through this next Hurricane!

August 2018
August was a busy month! A Cadet Commander Change of Command was conducted, welcoming Cadet First Lieutenant Ham as the new Cadet Commander, and sending our dear Cadet First Lieutenant Balog off to college. A change in meeting location was also decided upon and OCCS is overwhelmingly happy with this new development in the squadron. Last but certainly not least, read all about our cadets' experiment being sent to the International Space Station.

July 2018
July was certainly eventful! We had several trips/training events as well as awards, new staff positions, and a change of command. All is well at OCCS and we're powering through the hot summer months. Keep hydrating!
